Fashion With Compassion 2009 raised $113,500 for the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation!

Fashion with Compassion 2009 was held on Saturday, September 26th at the Telus Convention Centre in downtown Calgary. In "New York" fashion 680 guests were treated to a lovely luncheon and program emceed by CTV's Vickie Chase and Chad Martin of Astral Media Group.

The fashion show featured fall collections from Ducks & Co. modeled patients of Breast Cancer Supportive Care. Most of the models are graduates of the group support programs provided by BCSC - the very programs funded by the proceeds of Fashion with Compassion. It was a moving experience to hear first hand how the support of sponsors, donors and guests have made a difference in the lives of these 15 courageous and inspiring women. In turn, the women had the opportunity to "give back" by sharing their experiences with guests and volunteering their time to model in the show.

Fashion with Compassion 2009

This annual event took place on Saturday September 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Approximately 650 guests enjoyed a great luncheon, wonderful fall fashions from the well-known local Calgary retailer Ducks, raffles and a silent auction. As in the past, all our fashion models will be women whose lives have been affected by living with breast cancer.

Last year’s event was an enormous success, raising over $120,000. These funds go directly towards supporting the services of BCSCF.

Find out how you can be involved today. By being involved you can share your desire to provide hope and encouragement today to intimately impact the life of women with breast cancer. Together you help us make a difference. Together we can all help breast cancer patients to thrive!
